Home Ministry, Govt. of India, letter for Navaruna.

Today Home Ministry, Govt. of India, issued a letter regarding Navaruna Case to Bihar Govt.. Navaruna, a 12year old girl kidnapped from Muzaffarpur, Bihar since 18 sept., 2012 (267 days), but State Police failed to trace her after 8 months of Kidnapping. Next hearing scheduled on 1st July in Supreme Court.

Sir,

I am forwarding herewith a fervent appeal from a distraught father over non –recovery opf a 12 year old girl “Navaruna” from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The girl is missing since last eight months and as per the applicant there have been some lapses in investigations leading to non-recovery. The applicant has also earlier met Hon’ble Minister of Home Affairs in this regard. His earlier application has been forwarded to you vide letter of even number dated 21st December, 2012.
 

Considering the abovementioned, the undersigned has been directed to request you to direct the concerned investigative agency to expedite the case in a time bound manner. A copy of the action taken report will be highly appreciated.
